There is nothing more uncomfortable that an ingrown nail cutting into
 your day. Don’t panic, you can put that nail back in its place with the
 following homemade natural remedies.
This annoying issue usually takes place in the big toe; a thick, 
sharp nail starts growing into the tender skin at the corner of the 
nail, cutting the skin as it grows, producing a red painful area 
vulnerable to infection.
The reason for ingrown toe-nails could vary among many, such as wearing tight shoes or socks, or trimming toenails improperly.
Try the following suggestion of what you can do at home for an ingrown toenail: 
Fill up a basin with 8 liters hot water and several tablespoons of 
salt, stir until it dissolves, then soak your foot for 20 minutes daily 
until it the redness disappears. The hot water will soften the skin 
around the ingrown nail and the salt will help combat the infection and 
reduce the swelling.
After the 20 minutes, wash off the salt with warm, soapy water and 
let it dry, immediately put on a clean pair of socks to reduce the risk 
of infection.
